Seeking INS Intern

The International Neuroethics Society (INS) is seeking a student intern to work with staff, leadership, committees and members. This is a part time position available starting January 2017 and paying $12/hour for work completed remotely up to 10 hours per month (about 2 hours per week). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Executive Director and Website/Communications Director.
  • Write and coordinate newsletter articles.
  • Contribute original content to website and print publications.
  • Assist with the organization and preparation of annual meeting events and promotional materials.
  • Draft email announcements to members as assigned.
  • Compile outreach lists to interested individuals and organizations.
  • Conduct research for projects as assigned which advance the mission of the Society.
  • Participate as a supportive and engaged team member to ensure successful execution of special projects and events.


  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Interested in exploring new opportunities for outreach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and social media
  • Experience with photo editing, video/audio production, and/or Adobe Suite valued but not required
