Meetings

The first meeting of the Neuroethics Society will take place on November 13-14, 2008, in Washington, DC at the headquarters of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.  The meeting will feature an exciting line-up of invited and contributed papers, break-out groups, posters, a business meeting and ample opportunities for informal discussion and interaction.  Please mark your calendars and plan to attend!  More details, including hotel information, to follow.

In the meantime, we have been hosting events for members at other meetings.  So far, we have held a cocktail reception at the 2006 meeting of the Society for Neuroscience and a dinner out at the 2007 meeting, dinner at the 2006 meeting of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities and drinks at the 2007, and a beer and bratwurst night out at the EMBO/EMBL meeting in Heidelberg on "Genes, Brains, Behavior.”  Members, let us know other venues where you will be gathering in sufficient numbers to hold an event.
