Registration

Registration gives you access to the main sessions held at The Belvedere on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, April 17-19. Other free evening activities open to the public will have separate sign ups.

Review our pricing levels and deadlines before completing the registration form. You must register in advance to participate virtually or attend the meeting in Baltimore, MD, USA.

Pricing

INS Membership – Membership provides access to significantly lower registration rates for both in-person meeting participation and virtual participation. Please join or renew your membership before registering. To check your membership status, log in to the website and access your member profile.

Residency Status – People who reside, study, work, or are originally from or associated with a country that is designated by the World Bank as having a low-income or middle-income economy are eligible for lower rates. Reference the list of income classifications by country (xlsx) to determine if the country or countries in which you live or have an affiliation with are designated as low or middle income.

In-person Attendance

Registered in-person attendees will have access to the all sessions held at The Belvedere on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday — April 17-19. Drinks, breakfast snacks, and boxed lunches on Wednesday and Thursday will also be provided. In-person registration also grants you access to the virtual Gather space, Zoom links to watch online, and access to recorded sessions after the event.

Virtual Participation

Virtual participants will be able to watch and ask questions during most — but not all — plenary sessions. The film screening and music performance will not be broadcast virtually, and some virtual activities may take place at the same time as in-person activities. See the schedule for details.

Discounts

Group Discounts – We offer discounts for groups of five (5) or more people from the same institution or who are part of a research group. To discuss group pricing for registration and membership, contact Robert Beets <[email protected]>.

Financial Hardship – Discounts and waivers based on financial need are available. To discuss, contact Robert Beets <[email protected]>.

Plenary Session Speakers – Invited speakers contributing to a plenary session will receive a discount code for registration. Watch for this email from Robert Beets and other members of the Program Committee who are working with you on your session. Please note: authors invited to give research talks and poster presentations are not eligible for this speaker discount, but may still receive another discount or waiver.

Cancellation

Notice of cancellation and requests for a refund must be received by staff by March 15, 2024. A cancellation processing fee will be deducted from all refunds: $20 for students, trainees, and postdocs; and $30 for regular members and non-members.
