Attendees can download and use a Slido app, or simply access it from a web browser. With Slido, users can submit questions, see and upvote questions from others, and participate in polls fielded by speakers. Please note that Slido will not be integrated with Zoom, and we will not be using the Zoom Q&A feature. You can join the virtual Gather space using a Chrome or Firefox browser, or by using a Gather app. The app provides the most reliable experience. The virtual Gather space will be open from April 8 to May 5. You must be a registered attendee to use Gather. If prompted, enter the password — ethics — to gain access. Gather »Poster HallsIn addition to having a complete list of research presentations on the website, we will have interactive poster halls in Gather for attendees to virtually browse the posters and watch recorded videos. See the presentation formats and presentations judging webpages for instructions and details for preparing and submitting your posters, slides and videos to be installed in this space. Network in the LoungeFor the mentoring activity and open networking times, the Gather Lounge is will be a central meeting place. Each table is a private space that allows for a more controlled and confidential conversation. The bar in the back of the room is one private space, so this is a great spot to meet up with and start conversations with new friends. Using GatherThroughout the hybrid meeting, we have ample breaks and some virtual-only sessions. See the schedule for a complete agenda. During all breaks and times dedicated to convening, lunch, and networking, virtual participants are encouraged to join the Gather space to talk with colleagues. Basics In Gather, you will have a 2-D avatar that you will move about the space using your arrow keys and interact with those nearby over video chat.
