Calls for Proposals and AbstractsThe International Neuroethics Society (INS) invites students, researchers, and professionals from around the world to submit session proposals and abstracts for research presentations (in the form of posters and talks) for Neuroethics 2024, scheduled on April 17-19, 2024. The meeting includes opportunities to participate virtually or in person in Baltimore, MD, USA. New this year: we are seeking session proposals. Proposals are expected to feature a fully-realized topical focus, format, and include a list of speakers who can present a diverse range of perspectives and viewpoints. Proposals may feature any topic or issue related to neuroethics. We especially encourage proposals related to the meeting’s theme — 'Expressing Wonder, Making Meaning: Neuroethics Engages the Arts'. Abstracts submitted for research presentations can be considered for a poster presentation, a research talk, or both. Presentations can be given in-person or virtual (live or recorded). Authors can identify the presentation types and formats for which they wish to be considered. Abstract submissions may feature any topic or issue related to neuroethics. Research AbstractsAbout the MeetingThe INS Annual Meeting is a scientific conference that provides an opportunity for neuroethics experts, health and law professionals, and students and trainees from around the world and from many disciplines to share and exchange knowledge and to forge essential connections. The theme for this meeting is: ‘Expressing Wonder, Making Meaning: Neuroethics Engages the Arts’. A number of sessions and activities will be organized around this topic to explore the possible interactions — such as the creative, practical, theoretical, technological or social — between the arts and neuroscience. The program will also include a broad range of other topics and issues, inspired by the session proposals and research abstracts submitted by members of the neuroethics research community. The International Neuroethics Society is a professional association of scientists, scholars, students, and practicing legal and health professionals who share an interest in the ethical, legal, and societal impacts of advances in brain science.
